Baker began to listen to rap as a the sixth year. Colson Kelly was born Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989, in Texas. His songs are known for their ability to blend contemporary hip-hop and rock music and alternative music. Before signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and the year 2010. In the wake of delivering his lyrics quicker than a bullet train the Cleveland artist saw an explosive increase in fame and recognition in the year 2011. The rapper went from releasing self-released tapes before being signed to labels. The profile of the Cleveland rapper skyrocketed after he released his first mixtape at the end of 2011.
